satan will use every means possible to defeat GOD!!! This statement shouldn't surprise anyone, well anyone that believes in GOD in the first place.
The "dark lord" has already lost one decisive battle and was rewarded by being cast out of heaven. But truly, he's as stubborn as he is prideful and won't give up or give in until that day in which he's finally defeated.(and yes, he will be, for it is written!!!)
Today satan wages war against GOD thru a constant barrage of attacks upon believers. I'm pretty sure that I don't need to tell you about these. For daily, we're under constant attack in many ways. Most of which are meant to focus our attentions on our plight and away from GOD and HIS promises to us.
A secondary means that is being used, is the "trivialization" of GOD's WORD and WAYS. If but for a moment he can get our attentions turned away from GOD and focused on, or disbelieving in one "jot or title" of scripture, he's gained a minor victory. A foothold. A wedge between us and our SAVIOR.
These means are also being used against those to whom we as believers are to witness. Putting up stronger wall of defense between us and them. These can take many forms and can even use the professing Christian to do so.
We in the western world are among the most prosperous nations in the world and this prosperity is one of satan's greatest weapons against us. We've houses, that resemble great mansions to those that live in make-shift shelters. We've numerous vehicles to drive all around. When the greatest percentage of others are bound by "manual" transportation, walking or bicycles. We've masses of electronic gadgets filling our home and vehicles. To which, a great many are but distractions from the world we live in, but they too, are distractions from the very GOD that has blessed us with them.
Even our houses of worship, have become more entertainment, than they are worship. Sure we do worship in them, but is it any degree of that which it was a hundred years ago, or for that matter, just fifty years ago??? For the most part, gone is most of the music that the saints sing. Replaced by that which they listen to, or maybe sing along too. Gone, is the harmony of voices singing, no matter how out of tune, together, making melody to the LORD.
Gone is the church family, which knew each other as well as they know themselves. Gone, are many of those ways that used to separate the Church, from the rest of the world. Today, many of our churches resemble any other gathering of people.
These, the few that I've mentioned, are nothing but satan's trivialization of GOD, HIS WORD and HIS WAY!!!
THINK ABOUT IT, FOR THE FUTURES OF MANY, DEPEND UPON US!!!

Being sent
Praise the LORD!!!
It's been quite some time since I last published a blog, but the LORD has HIS reasons and I doubt them not!!! The "why," is not of my concern, it is that I remain attuned to HIS voice within my life and remain obedient, that is!!!
Let us take a bit of a trip here, a trip in time. Two time periods, that is :{)))
First: "“Don’t take the road leading to other nations, ... go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." "
The Holy Bible: Holman Christian standard version. (2009). (Mt 10:5–6). Nashville: Holman Bible Publishers.
The time here, is early on in JESUS' ministry, where HE first sends out the disciples(12) to begin revealing the KINGDOM news to people. Gracing them with a long list of commands and the power to fulfill all that they've been called too.
The second period in time we shall talk about, is that where I was led to leave Ohio and walk to Kingsville, TX. I wasn't given a long list of that which I was or wasn't to do, but these came as time went by, as I was preparing to enter into events. (Most likely such short notice, because of my quick response when following HIS leadings, I've learned not to question the simple, but only the extreme leadings. :{))) )
In our first period, we've commands as to what they're to take with them: "Don’t take along gold, silver, or copper for your money-belts. Don’t take a traveling bag for the road, or an extra shirt, sandals, or a walking stick,..."
The Holy Bible: Holman Christian standard version. (2009). (Mt 10:9–10). Nashville: Holman Bible Publishers.
Whereas on the first trip(attempted one), I carried a good sum of money($600) and belongings(90 lbs. worth) and was accompanied by my year old wolf/shepherd pup(untrained for this type of task.) As I was walking, I was in prayer and deep conversation with the LORD. Listening for HIS leadings and taking in all that HE laid upon my heart(and there was a lot :{))) ) Much of these(prayers) had to do with my undertakings for HIM. Where I was to stop and rest(or eat(whatever)), who and what I was too converse with people about and any other interactions along the way.
The "route" wouldn't be a direct one, but one off the beaten path you may say. Going from Utopia, OH., east to the ferry crossing at Augusta, KY. and then beginning a southerly direction on county and minor state roads. It was here that I had my first two interactions with the BODY, one good and the other not so.
The first, was on Easter morning, after having a personal "sunrise" service and having walked a pretty good distance. I'd stopped for a rest on a cement wall along the roadside and it just so happened to be across the street from a little non denominational church. I was getting ready to head on, when I heard someone yelling at me. It was the minister and he was inviting my dog and I over for Easter breakfast. Yes, my dog was invited into the church along with me :{))). After a very good "feeding" and plenty of awesome conversation, we were also invited to stay for another service, one of mostly praise and worship. At the end of this service, we were greeted by many of the church members and handed sums of money for the trip. Heading onward with an additional $250 and scores of promised prayers!!!
As usual, when the LORD has blessed, satan too will raise his head. Over the next ten miles or so we covered a large area that was under construction, having the roadsides torn up and covered with four or five inch rocks, very unstable walking. Marianne's feet took a beating, so bad so, that things were looking pretty bad as to continuing the trip. That was, until the LORD provided !!! A young couple returning home after an Easter dinner with family met up with me. I thought this was but a short meeting, because they'd stopped for gas at the closed store I'd been resting up at. But, they returned after getting gas at another station and proceeded to drive us to a "boat ramp" another ten miles on along the route. Praise the LORD, both now and then, for I knew the LORD was a work here :{)))
After several days here, allowing time for Marianne's feet to heal and having met many a person, severe weather set in. We had no tent or rain gear, only trashbags for temporary shelter. Needless to say, I was soaked, cold and miserable, but the LORD had bigger plans. It was now that one of the people I'd met blessed us well. They had a house sitting empty, with the utilities on, in which we could stay until the proper time came. It wasn't but a 100 yards away, on the other side of the river and about a hundred feet from a non-denom church. These people ended up putting us up for about a month. Supplying all of our needs, shelter, electricity, water and food, so much so I had to ask it they'd back off a bit and let me take care of some !!! True Christian hospitality !!!
As for the church, so close, yet so far(from the LORD's ways): I went to a service one Sunday, talked with the minister about his sermon and really expected more to come from this. Oh was I wrong. This church was about as "dry" of the HOLY SPIRIT as Death Valley is of water!!! I watched people gather here numerous times, weekends and weekdays, and not once did anyone ever even acknowledge me when driving by, let alone invite me over to join in!!! I was beginning to see two very different sides to the church, one that I loved and another, that was in great need of heavy prayers.(which they got!!!)
The rest of the trip was pretty much uneventful, unless you consider walking a week with three broken toes and having your knee blowout on a Sunday morning events :{))). But it was the LORD's leading and teaching that took place for the most part. I met those of a "Messianic movement," which assisted me and had seeds of truth planted. Those whom went to church regularly and weren't happy with it. An those Christians that refrained from going to church because they didn't feel that the "houses" they attended, were anything like those the LORD would endorse. Believe me when I say "my eyes and ears were open" and "the LORD was teaching me a great many lessons!!!" and yes folks, many, many seeds were planted :{)))
*** For more details on this trip, one can find them back in the history in my blogs and on the timelines of my many pages(both personal and ministry.) There are far more there, than I was led to post here, so if interested, dig deeper :{)))***

Caring and Sharing...
Praise the LORD!!!
Happy Valentine's Day <3 p="">
Caring and sharing, this could be a deep talk, but it'll not be. For I'd like to give you a little example that just happened to me.
Several days ago, my friend, the one that is allowing me to live in her garage, and I were talking about Mardi Gras. Well I mentioned that one of my favorite things about it were "King Cakes." I've a deep fondness for them and the traditions mean nothing, just the cake :{)))
She'd been away for several days visiting some friends and last night when I got home there was a King cake sitting in my computer chair. Later when she got back in we talked about it. It appears that she had looked around town and was unable to find one. But while on her trip out of town, she had stopped to get a "welcome gift" for her visit and found the only two left in the store. She kept one for her return and they enjoyed the other at their gathering. When she arrived home, she delivered it to my chair.
Folks, here is a dear Christian sister, that went greatly out of her way to share the love of CHRIST with another. Isn't this kind of act exactly what following our LORD and SAVIOR is all about. Going that extra mile to reveal the love of CHRIST for all of mankind!?!

How long...
Praise the LORD!!!
"Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me," (John 14:9; AV)
Yesterday, I was asked about one of the post I had made and what scripture references I could use to back it. The post: "A Thought for such a time as this:
A Christian should not settle with a level of production(for the LORD) that is the same as yesterday!!!"
At the time that I gave answer I was a bit distraught from having tried to monitor and post tornado warning to followers on this current system. As many of you know, well those that have followed the ministry for over a year or two would, this is part of the ministry's functions. Any way, back to the point of this blog :{))) My answer was in two parts, because another stepped in asking, but here are both parts:
"PTL!!! It is not GOD requires, wants or needs anything but our love, but as with any relationship lovers seek to provide the other with greater things from the heart as the relationship deepens. Would you give your wife/girlfriend a BMW one day and turn around and give them a gardening tool??? I think not. It may just be me, but as I grow closer to the LORD, I desire to do more for HIM, not because I have to, or because it will gain me one thing, but just because I love HIM !!!"
"PTL!!! I consider my relationship with GOD above all others and seek to deepen it in every way. As with any relationship, a knowledge of the other is great, but if that is where we leave off, what do we really have other than knowledge, we've no experience. Any thriving relationship must have experiences that deepen it, that bring the two parties closer together. I've had many relationship and most were very one sided, due to my pride, The LORD has blessed me by removing this hindrance and now I willing to seek a depth in our relationship deeper than any every before. HE gave HIS all for me, shouldn't I be willing to do the same in return, not being satisfied with the results of yesterday, but seeking to make today even better??? Scripturally, you'll not find this depth of relationship mentioned, to the best of my knowledge, but I'm sure it was in the hearts of many of those that have died for CHRIST while smiling at their tormentors and singing praises unto GOD!!! "
You can believe this was on my heart last night as I went to sleep and it was put to prayer. Now I can understand new believers in CHRIST having(needing) scripture "proof" to solidify their understandings, but supposedly seasoned, mature Christians!?! Have we been so long with JESUS, yet we fail to really know HIM??? To know those things we are to do. To know the manor in which we are to live our lives and reflect HIS image to others.
Now don't take me wrong here, I'm not judging these others involved here, but I'm being blessed to see the BODY as a whole here. We've lived our lives for years for CHRIST. We've supposedly read and read the Bible numerous times. Studied and studied for hours, taking in hour after hour worth of sermons and teaching tapes(disc) and books. "And yet hast thou not known me,"
______________________________
I ask, but not I, but the LORD, is your knowledge of me only within your mind, or is it within your heart??? Do you really have a loving relationship with me, or is it but a knowledge of scripture??? I want your heart, as well as your mind and body. I want all of you!!! Are you willing to give it???

Laying hold
Praise the LORD!!!
With the beginning of a new year many people's minds are focused on that which lays ahead and that which is behind. When really the matter that should be our primary focus, "is that which today holds."
We are not promised a future day, but are given this one alone and that which we do within it's confines is up to us. Will we use it to the fullest to bring glory to the LORD??? Or will we use it for self gratification and the fulfillment of our lust??? The answer is one that only you can make and is totally dependent upon your relationship with the LORD!!! Have you taken up your cross to follow HIM??? Or do you maneuver around within this world as a fleshly entity, wrapped in Christian apparel??? "Forsake all and follow me" isn't just a suggestion, but a command of our LORD. One we must strive to bring about within our lives!!!
The year that lays behind us should be considered, but not in a way that most would think. We must consider the "points" of our walks and those thing accomplished for the glory of GOD and leave behind those things that were worldly. We must also consider those places within the last year where GOD moved within our lives. Those places where HE was either leading us to learn from HIM a better WAY, or where HE was pruning us, teaching us those things that we needed to leave behind to perish in the winds of change!!! Many are those that will want to hold onto these things, when they're truly not for us to hold, only to reflect upon and learn the lessons of the LORD from within them.
Let us each lay hold of this day, live it to the fullest. Living it to the glory of the LORD and praying that if we do well with this task at hand, HE may well bless us with more days ahead to repeat this task!!! GOD has set a path before us. HE has placed people in our way, people we should interact with and lead towards the proper paths for their own lives. We can not carry them along with us, but they must make their own choices. The choices they make are dependent upon that which you do to guide them, but ultimately it rest in the hands of the LORD. HE is the one that has directed your paths to cross. HE is the one that has formed each of you into that which you are and it is HE that has purpose for these interactions between your lives. So do your best to listen and react with these others. Do your best to follow your guide. Do your best to leave an impression that will continue to lead them on. This my friends is the way, we make the most of that which we've been blessed with and can look forward to days ahead, if it is HIS will !!! :{)))

Forgetfulness
Praise the LORD!!!
Most of us tend to forget that as we go through life in this world, this is not what we're to be living for!!!
...19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rustg consume and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rusth consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.(Matt. 6:19-21; NRSV)
We also tend to forget at what a great personal cost most of those mentioned in the Bible dealt with. Abraham left all that his life existed of to seek after GOD's leading. Ruth, she left behind all also, to glean in the fields of a stranger. Look at the disciples and all that they left to follow CHRIST. Even Peter when he stepped out of the boat left behind much. Think about it, he left behind common sense and all the laws of nature to which he'd lived his whole life.
The point here is, what are you willing to do(forget) in life, to obtain a full relationship with JESUS today???
Use these verses, but don't stop with them, cross reference and seek out GOD from within HIS WORD!!!

Praise the LORD!!!
In my early years, before CHRIST, I destroyed many a person's life. Sure a lot of these were done with the help of others, but I personally claim responsibility for even the parts that these played. For if it were not for my part in those things that I did, or inspired, they'd of not have done them.
Now that my life is totally JESUS' I seek to set the record straight, by serving the LORD to the best of my ability. Reaching out and spreading the GOSPEL to everyone I can, in every manor that I can. With every step that I take while on this earth, I seek another to tell of the love JESUS has for them. I seek to do this in every possible place imaginable.
I even pray that the LORD will open the doors that my feet shall travel around the globe, enabling me to share HIS love with all those abroad. For this to happen, due to my being a convicted felon, there is the need of a 'Presidential Pardon," to wipe clean my earthly record. I began, at one time, to seek this but was put to rest by the HOLY SPIRIT. For this is not to be of my hands, but of the LORD's and I've faith that it will be done.
The day is coming when the LORD will pour out HIS blessings upon this worthless piece of flesh that HE has redeemed and HIS ministry for me and things will never be the same. For there will be a movement of GOD upon this earth that can only be called "the latter day rains" and GOD's KINGDOM on earth and in heaven will receive all the glory !!!!!!!

A Merry CHRISTmas???
Praise the LORD!!!
I'd like to pass on my heart felt greeting to all my readers, that of a Merry CHRISTmas:)))
Yet, you see the title above having question marks behind this!!! This is because the LORD has laid it upon my heart, for opening the eyes and hearts of many, to realize, there are many not so blessed. Yet some, are more highly blessed, though not in the ways of most others.
You see, I am sitting here at my computer, alone and if not for the blessings of two others(families), would not have received a single present. But this though, doesn't bother me in the least :))) Some background first, though.
Alone, because when I had gotten out of prison, my wife had forsaken our relationship and was living with another. Over a three year period, I tried numerous times to bring our relationship back together. Even to the point of allow her, our son and her current boyfriend to move in with me after they were evicted from their apartment. All that I did, came to no avail, for she and our boys(one stepson) refused to even begin to accept that the changes in my life were real and that JESUS was the only true source of happiness in this world. So after much prayer and listening, we departed company and I've not heard from them since '04.'
Having been here in Kingsville for over two years, you'd think that I'd have a family of friends around me, but I do not. Why, you may ask??? Though I've gone to several churches here and have worked with my hands on several people's houses, most kind of consider me strange. They can't understand me truthfully. "How can one always be praising the LORD and for the most part having nothing???" "How can this man constantly talk about the LORD and that which HE's done and doing within his life when there seems to be so little he has???" "How can this man say he's a world changing ministry, when it is himself alone???"
The answer to everything above, is simple and clear, well maybe just to me. I've a faith in my LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST that surpasses all human understandings !!!!!!!

No One Knows...
Praise the LORD!!!
No one knows my life better than I do. Which is a statement all of us can make, for it is the spirit within each of us that truly knows us, even better than the conscious self, soul, knows us.
If I were to tell you, which I have stated this before, that I'm TOTALLY sold out to GOD, you may doubt the truth of this matter. I'm going to reveal here some of the facts that will back this statement up. Not just matters of words and speech, but physical matters as well.
As you should know, since you're reading this, that I've been working on developing the LORD's ministry for me, for over twelve years now, totally alone(accept the LORD.) All of the money that has gone into it's formation and works has come from out of my own pockets. There have been donations along the lines of items deemed for donation to others, but until very recently none had donated time, efforts or funding to it. All that has been accomplished, from Springfield MO., to Kingsville, TX. have been by my hands alone. Not one has ever stepped up and said they would want to join in on this Herculean effort, and that is exactly what it is!!! A ministry that is even beyond my total comprehension, for that which I was shown of it in visions in '97' literally blows my mind!!!
I've given up a house(2/3 paid for), my family(wayward wife and sons) and anything one might consider a normal lifestyle, to stretch every cent as far as possible to continue on in my 'carrying of this cross' for the LORD!!!
After leaving behind everything in Springfield, MO., with plans to go on a missions trip to Haiti(which was cancelled(kidnappings in Haiti of missionaries), I rode out the right front quad of hurricane Rita in '05'. This is when the , central focus of, ministry's disaster relief branch came to full life. For the next several years, I reeked out a living and stretched every penny I could into helping those in which the storms of '05' had overturned their lives. Constantly witnessing to the life changing abilities of the LORD, in overcoming adversity. This ended up leading me to Florida, living with my sister and her husband, only hours before my mother went home to be with the LORD. For the next year and a half, I was totally separated from most of the works associated with direct connections to the ministry. Though I was still able to witness constantly and help others(with my hands) to improve their lives.
This is when I received the leading, to totally step out of the boat. The trip to Texas, on foot, was begun. Here again, I left everything behind, including thousands of dollars worth of tools, cookware and other ministry related items. Since my arrival in Texas, every detail of my life has been in the LORD's hands. Everything I have to my name, are either donated items(from local Christians), or those I've managed to gather up thru the works of my hands(working for several local apartment complexes, or helping residence of the area.) If anyone in need were to ask me for any of these items, I'd gladly give them. Even if someone were to want to steal them, they could have them also. For what actually are all these things, except blessings from the LORD!?! If stolen or given freely, the LORD would replace them as they are, or upgrading them to even better:)))
Over the last two months or so, the LORD has truly blessed me with have the first ever donations, actually given forth for the ministry. At this time, I've received just under a thousand dollars worth of items, a computer and monitor and the money to upgrade this to a more proficient system to accomplish the works needed. You can believe me, I am praising the LORD for them:)))
Though all this this I consider as nothing, for my walk, in personal relationship, with the LORD is all important. Though this grows daily, I've become tired, tired not of relationship with HIM, but in the efforts to carry this cross daily. HE has promised that HE will be assisting me in this effort and HE does, but the task ahead is great and so far the laborers few, one!!! If others don't begin taking this matter in prayer before the LORD and listening, being obedient and following HIS leading it will not disappear, but remain only as it has been, the works of a single man.
As I said, "No one knows" this life I walk daily, no one knows the weight of this cross that I so willingly carry and no one knows these burdens that weight so heavily upon my heart for the lost and needy of this world. No one will continue to know these, until others are willing to step out of the boat(that life they think is severing the LORD) and truly step on board this Herculean effort to glorify the LORD like no other generation has ever sought to do. If you think this may be what the LORD is leading to, pray and listen for HIS answer, then get up and step out onto stormy waters, knowing JESUS will carry you onward !!!!!!!
*** any and all information about the ministry can be found on the website (and yes, I know it's not the best of sites(I'm not a web designer either:))) )) I can use every sort of help there is known to man and the LORD!!! Don't ask me if the help is needed, if led, just do it. I trust the LORD and know HE will make all things work together for the good of those that love GOD and are called according to HIS purpose:))) Is this HIS purpose for you, if you believe so what are you waiting for, just step out and DO IT:)))))))

Who am I???
Praise the LORD!!!
Good morning!!! Though it isn't exactly what most would call morning:))) You see, it isn't even six o'clock (AM) yet, but the LORD has awoken me, so I'm up and awake. Awaken in the usual manor, a cramp in my right foot. Not an overtly painful cramp, but one that feels more like a huge thumb compressing the center of it. As usual, when this happened, at first, I said "Praise the LORD, I'm awake LORD," but snuggled back up in the warm blankets. This wasn't supposed to be my proper reaction and the cramp returned:))) (the LORD is persistent in HIS leading, that is if you truly follow it!!!) Another PTL, though this time it was followed with my rolling out of bed and saying, "sorry LORD."
Heading right to the computer and since it hadn't gone into 'sleep mode' yet, I moused it and got it up and running. Now, I've not sat down yet, so into the kitchen to switch on the coffee pot and then off to the bathroom. Returning then to the computer and asking "what now LORD?" Off to one of my devotional readings, Morning and Evening, and then to the internet. Since I cleaned my system last night, I had to get my browser up and running. After doing so, the leading was this, blog time!!!
Who am I??? A question many would have to ponder, not I, for the answer was supplied:))) (thanks LORD!!!) I am but a man saved by grace. A piece of human trash, picked up by the LORD, just before it was headed to the fire for disposal. Picked up and recycled, shaped into something totally unlike that which it was before. The only resemblance to the old, is on the outside, for everything on the inside has been totally renewed. Where there had been pride and arrogance, is now humility. Where there was a strong will, there is now one that listens to the slightest of leading, not those of man or the world, but only of GOD. A man that could always figure things out, with an extremely sharp mind, now, totally dependent on that which comes from the heart.
This is the one that really gets me and truly shapes my life now. When something happens, my mind goes into action, thoughts reeling through it, reaction after reaction are formulated. Yet, only that which my heart leads me to, is done. Now, why listen to your heart, when it is so prone to making mistakes and getting one in trouble? This may be a true statement of a 'natural man', but isn't so of a born again Christian and spiritual man!!! You see, in the natural man, the heart is the seat of the emotions, whereas in the spiritual, it is the home of the LIVING GOD!!! How this came to be, I couldn't tell you. All I know, is that I've totally given myself to the LORD, I'm an empty vessel, overflowing with HE that gave HIMself for me upon the cross, and I love every moment of this new life!!!!!!!
Many post things that have stirred their hearts, whether good or bad. I think upon the matter and then only post that which I'm led to from my heart. There is a difference. One is reliant upon our emotions and self, whereas the other is reliant upon the HOLY SPIRIT alone. Many will be stirred by a dislike of someone or somethings actions and make statements bordering on and sometimes over the lines of committing a sin. Not I, for it is laid upon my heart, the reasoning behind whatever has stirred one to action, then given a response to it. If I post on this action, it isn't my response, but only that which I'm led to!!! There is a difference!!!
So, who am I??? A no one, but one that has given his life totally to following the LORD's leading. A man that has given up his own will, for the will of the LORD for him. One that no longer has a life, seeking after his own enjoyments, but one that is willing to do whatever he's led to, no matter the consequences. Follow my words, I'd not recommend it, for that is not my place. Listen to the LORD and follow HIM alone!!!:)))

Benevolence
Praise the LORD!!!
Today is a great day!!! Why? Because it is another one that the LORD has blessed us with, not just life itself, but HE's given us the ability to share HIS awesome love for us with all those around us!!!
HIS awesome love for mankind goes so much deeper than we can even begin to imagine. We've the greatest shown through HIS death upon the cross for us. Yet, we tend to over look many of the other ones. "What other ones?" you may ask! Let us look at HIS ministry on earth then.
In most places in the 'four GOSPELS', we see JESUS, walking among the masses or seated among a group of people. Seldom do we see HIM alone, except for those times, where HE snuck away for private time in prayer with the FATHER. Now, we don't have a full account of all the events that took place during HIS life, so that which I'm going to set forth, may be considered as conjecture. Let me say though, this is HOLY SPIRIT guided conjecture:)))
When we hear of JESUS' ministry, we should be able to see a pattern developing, one of order, which for the most part was continually followed by HIM and even by the apostles after HIS departure. There were the healings and acts of benevolence always witnessed, before HE began HIS teachings. From the title, you should be able to see that it is not the healings that this article is about, but the benevolence. Those acts of charity(love) that are the topic.
For the most part, we're only let in on two of the most miraculous ones, the feeding of the masses. The 4000+ and 5000+. Now if you reckon these numbers, as the Hebrews would, the numbers were far greater, for these were just the head count of the 'men,' those heads of households, not all the women and children which were in attendance, so these numbers could be greatly multiplied.
These accounts were only the two 'greatest,' what about all the rest of the time? How many sat down with JESUS, besides HIS disciples, daily? I have to wonder, if HIS procession didn't look more like the exodus, than that of a small group of wanderers? Just take into consideration what we see today, when some famous person comes into the area. The mass of followers that seek the person's attendance to them, in some way. These are just regular people, not the messiah or future king of the nation, so how much greater was HIS following, then we're allowed to witness!!!
Yet it is not the numbers, that I seek your focus to be upon, but that which HE shared with them. Not just HIS WORDS, but that love, those provisions. How many sat with HIM at meal time and went away satisfied? How many, walked along side of HIM and had their daily needs met? Not just their spiritual needs, but those physical needs that are a matter of life and death in such a land as that? We hear of those women that provided for HIS needs daily, that accompanied HIM along HIS way! We hear of HIS 'paying the temple tax' from the mouth of a fish! We do not hear though, of how HIS everyday needs were met! Yet, being very GOD, I'm sure there were many miracles, that even the disciples weren't aware of:)))
It would be fair to say that the habits of those of the first century church, could impact our understanding better the great acts of benevolence that took place among JESUS' procession through the holy lands. For though they weren't told to do so, they gathered together, giving of all that they had. Giving at much of the time far beyond measure. So great was this desire to give and supply the needs of all, that they sold almost all that they owned!!!
There is much here to be digested, so I'm going to leave it here and let these thoughts sink into your hearts. I'm also going to post many scripture here for you, as a follow up on our topic. I pray, you'll enjoy, as the LORD opens your eyes to a fuller understanding of HIS ways, while on earth!!!
Use these verses, but don't stop with them, cross reference and seek out GOD from within HIS WORD!!!
Deut. 15:7–15, 18. Lev. 25:35–43. Psa. 41:1; Psa. 112:9; Prov. 3:27, 28; Prov. 11:25; Prov. 22:9; Prov. 25:21, 22; Prov. 28:27; Isa. 58:6, 7, 10, 11; Ezek. 18:5, 7–9; Matt. 5:42; Matt. 19:21 Mark 10:21.

At the moment...
Praise the LORD!!!
I(the LORD through me) wants you to think about something!!! At the moment you personally accept JESUS as your LORD and SAVIOR, the HOLY SPIRIT takes up residence within your heart. This is not an anointing of the SPIRIT, but the seal of the bond between you and HE. Now think upon this well!!! Everything you say, think or do is now being done in the very presence of GOD!!!!!!!
I could go on greatly from here, for my life(since CHRIST) has been and exciting one to say the least and I've realized this fact from the beginning. But, I'm led to leave you at this alone. To think upon all that you do within this life. All that you say within this life and all that you think. Every moment, from conversion onward, IS in the very presence of GOD HIMself:)))))))

The character of Judas, in a differnet light.
Praise the LORD!!!
Seldom will I copy and post a large portion of any writings, scripture or those of man. But this is a bit different, for this writing has totally stirred me. So many see Judas Iscariot and his acts of betrayal only with the light of the acts themselves and the end cost of them. This text shall bring these into a newer light, one that I believe we see very often in the church today and also the individual believers. (I have left the text completely unedited, so there maybe references to other sections of the books from which they came. If they work, count it as blessing, for I'm enjoying these studies.)
"The character and end of Judas is one of the most important and instructive things in history. It teaches us, 1. That Christ may employ wicked men for important purposes in his kingdom. See Notes on ver. 17. He does no violence to their freedom; suffers them to act as they please, but brings important ends out of their conduct. One of the most conclusive arguments for the pure character of Jesus Christ is drawn from the silent testimony of Judas. 2. The character of Judas was eminently base and wicked. He was influenced by one of the worst human passions; and yet he concealed it from all the apostles. It was remarkable that any man should have thought of making money in such a band of men; but avarice will show itself everywhere. 3. We see the effects of covetousness in the church. It led to the betraying of Jesus Christ, and to his death; and it has often betrayed the cause of pure religion since. There is no single human passion that has done so much evil in the church of God as this. It may be consistent with external decency and order, and in accordance with the principles on which the world acts, and which it approves, and it may therefore be indulged without disgrace, while open and acknowledged vices would expose their possessors to shame and ruin. And yet it paralyses and betrays religion probably more than any single propensity of man. 4. The character of an avaricious man in the church will be developed. Opportunities will occur when it will be seen and known by what principle he is influenced. So it was with Achan (Jos. 7:21); so it was with Judas; and so it will be with all. Occasions will occur which will test the character, and show what manner of spirit a man is of. Every appeal to a man’s benevolence, every call upon his charity, shows what spirit influences him—whether he is actuated by the love of gold, or by the love of Christ and his cause."

Faith
Praise the LORD!!!
FAITH, we all should know the Bible's interpretation of it! Hebrews 11:1. But truly, how do we exhibit it in our daily lives, is the question that should concern us the most. For it is through our faith in GOD and HIS promises to us, that the world around us sees JESUS within us!!!
"Faith is not a once-done act, but a continuous gaze of the heart at the Triune God." (A. W. Tozer) Do we reveal our faith in our daily walk? Is it our concrete belief in GOD and HIS providence in our lives that is revealed through our actions and words?
As some of you may know, if you attend to my writings and post, that within several days, I may be homeless. Now, it's not because I've not been working that this is about to happen. Because I've spent most of the last month helping people with work that others had left unfinished or messed up. Part of the ministry's works are to assist people, such as these, and this is what I've been doing.
Many people in my position would be scrambling to the pawn shops or part time work to gain the money needed to meet their bills. They'd be worrying every spare moment, about those things that the future holds for them. Not me! I've faith, faith in the fact that GOD is who HE says HE is, and will fulfill all of HIS promises, just as written in scripture. I've personally been walking in the LORD for over sixteen years, much of which has been a constant living from day to day. Not being dependent on that which I could do to meet my needs. No, that of living and counting on the ultimate power of GOD to do just as HE's states, so many times within scripture.
I know GOD well enough, from all of this, that I know that no matter what happens, it will work out to bring glory to the precious name of JESUS, one way or another:))) (Romans 8:28) GOD has anointed me to this ministry and if I end up in several days, headed up the roadside with backpack and a wagon, so be it. I know that where my steps will be leading me, will come about to HIS glory. Where would I most likely head? Since I spent much time warning people of the recent storms, it'd most likely be to one of those areas destroyed by tornadoes. A place where people are in need, great need. Relief from their suffering, either through the works of my hands or the words of my mouth. This is putting ones faith into action for all to see. Not to see the glory of a man, but to see just what one man can accomplish when they've true faith in the one that has changed their lives totally. JESUS!!!

Little flock...
Praise the LORD!!!
I've just started my afternoon Bible reading and just ten verses in the LORD hits me with this. I'll not say much on these verses, but allow them to speak for themselves!!!
Luke 12:32-34 (NIV)
32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
As I said< "I'll not say much," but I will pose a few questions to get the juices flowing:)
Use these verses, but don't stop with them, cross reference and seek out GOD from within HIS WORD!!!

4.06.10_Heb. 11:13,14_GOD's plans
Praise the LORD!!!
***Due to my host family's son being home from college for the week, this is his room, I'll be publishing my post earlier then normal. In this way I can shutdown the computer earlier then usual.
Though for several days before Easter, or Resurrection Day, I'd had a bit of a heavy spirit. This was due to the fact that I've been preforming the works of this ministry now since Aug. '97' and for the most part totally alone. There are those that want to say that it can't be of GOD if it isn't receiving HIS blessings. Yet I beg to differ and here is why!!!
Hebrews 11:13,14
13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. 14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own.
For many years after he had received the promise from GOD of a son, Abraham had continued to carry on in faith. For though he had not seen any fruit produced, he still held on to that which GOD had promised. Though this was a man who's faith was accounted to him as righteousness and not just some 'prison inmate' that thinks he's been called of GOD(the words of another). There is no difference, be it any man that has a calling placed upon him by GOD, or another. For those of us, that have been called to profess faith in JESUS CHRIST, have a purpose in the KINGDOM of GOD on earth, and we shall fulfill this purpose for that reason. This reason, is that GOD's will for mankind may take place in just the order that GOD has set forth for it too.
Before the beginning of time, when GOD was laying the foundations for the heavens and all that exist within the universe, HE was setting into motion the very events and lives of all men, for all time! That's right, GOD has known every detail of HIStory, since before it even began. We can't even begin to fathom the knowledge of GOD, our minds are so limited in their abilities. They say that we use only 10% of our brain as it is and even if we were to use them fully, we still wouldn't even be close to a fraction of the intelligence of GOD. Let alone a full understanding of all HE has set into motion. We tend to forget that HE is omnipotent and omnipresent and that we're not even close to resembling any of these traits.
Every detail of our lives, as to our past, has been allowed to be just as they were for a reason. GOD has placed every detail in the exact place and time that HE wanted them to be. Right down to the minutest of details also. There has been nothing that has happened, that wasn't meant to happen, like it did and when it did, that GOD hasn't addressed in detail. Many want to say that satan has had a lot to do with all the sin within our lives, which he did, but not without the overlaying fact that GOD wanted these sins to be in our lives in the first place, in order to bring us to the exact place in time and relational standing that we are at this moment! That's right all those sins that I committed growing up, all the people's lives that I messed up and altered in some way, happened for the exact reason that GOD wanted them to! (Praise the LORD, I know I'm stepping on some theological toes this morning!!!)
I've had preachers tell me that GOD hasn't allowed the evil to take place in the world. That GOD is only manifested by acts of love and righteousness. GOD is personified by love and there is no evil within HIM, but this doesn't mean that HE didn't created it or allow it to happen for a reason! Believe me when I say this, that GOD knew, that when HE created satan as one of the arch angels, that he was going to try and usurp his power and take GOD's throne. That GOD knew that when HE created Adam and Eve and placed them in the garden with the tree of knowledge, that they were going to fall to temptation. GOD knew all these things and has allowed them for a reason. That HIS express purpose for mankind will take place and bring those that HE has chosen into right relationship with HIM for all of eternity.
Pilate, Pharaoh, Hitler, you, me and every person throughout HIStory have done to date just that which GOD has ordained to happen and each event that we take part in, until our final breathes will fulfill this also. I can't explain all the reasoning of GOD for things that have taken place. Just as Abraham couldn't of changed the outcome of his life according to GOD's purpose. What GOD has allowed to happen and what HE has set into motion will all bring about GOD's perfect will for mankind. So just as I was doing several weeks ago and working on setting up the LORD's ministry for me, I will continue to go about these works. Even if not one person ever comes along beside me and assist in it. I will continue to fulfill that which the LORD's has shown me. GOD only knows when it will begin to produce fruit, if it hasn't already(just because I've not seen it). Only GOD knows what the future holds for it and myself and every other person that ever will come into contact with it. No living being, knows the mind of GOD or can ever begin to understand all that HE has set into motion. We can only do that which HE leads us to do and have faith that HE will bring about everything that HE has shown us or told us that HE will. Every WORD of the Bible is true, though much has yet to take place. But you can count on one thing though, those that haven't happened yet, some day shall, and just as they are written!!!
There will be no other verses with this today, for it is written out of a spirit of explanation. One where I'm letting you know that which bears directly upon my future and the future of these writings. We should return to normal here in the near future when the LORD wills us too. For this too, GOD has a reason behind and it will accomplish HIS will for those that are involved with it!

Yesterdays post came out far later then it should of, this due to major problems here. If you've been following me you'll know and truly I've gotten tired of talking about it. I'm going to try my best, no matter what to focus all my energies on but one thing, bringing glory to our most precious LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!
This devotional is going to be a bit different then most, for it is going to come from the events of the last several days, if not even as much as a week or more. As many of you know I'm in the process of building a ministry for the LORD. Vine of CHRIST Ministries is it's name and like my previous statement is about serving the LORD and bringing HIM all the glory. Nothing more and nothing less. Recently I've made some statements about the ministry that people just can't seem to fathom. This partially to the fact that they are a bit on the wild side(not the people, the statements), shall I say. Kind of stretching the envelope to the extreme. This has happened because of the fact that when the LORD leads me to do something, I don't think twice about it, I just do it. This goes right down to a lot of what I say and write. This stems from the fact that when the LORD got my attention, HE got it wholeheartedly. Yes there have been moments of straying, but for the most part HE has my attention 110% and some!
I'm no super saint, prophet or apostle and won't claim to be, I'm just like most people struggling with my faith and trying to do the best that I can with each day. I do spend a large amount of my time reading the Bible and doing Bible related research and study. I do spend almost all of my time working on the LORD's ministry for me on top of this. So as you can see most of my time is spent in relationship, in one form or another with the LORD. I'm a single man and have no family that wants anything to do with me, because of my faith, so I've no problem putting everything I can into serving the LORD. Even while working on the Mississippi gulf coast rebuilding homes and lives after Katrina wrecked havoc upon them. Everything that was above that which was needed to live, was spent on tools and materials to do more work for the LORD's ministry. Can you begin to see a pattern here? One where my whole being revolves around JESUS and nothing else!
As Christians we are called to be CHRIST-like. Those people around us are to see CHRIST in all the things that we do, not just those on Sunday or whenever we've stepped out of a church related meeting, but 24/7, 365. This is that which makes me different then most Christians. I strive to fulfill this constantly, working on my walk with the LORD, continuously! If there is something that is brought to mind by another, whether a person or GOD, I do my best to bring it to its proper position within my life. Working on it until it is in conformity to that which I believe it should be and believe me when I say that I do check all these out according to scriptures, I do.
Much of what that has been happening lately has been due to the LORD's moving within my life. I've stepped out numerous times in the last year and believe me, it feels great to place all your trust in the LORD!!!
I've been being led to let people know about the differences between VCM and other ministries in existence. Which there are many to say the least. I'll not go into the details here, because they have been written already or will be in the near future. Anyone that whats to find out any of these just has to do a little searching online. I've made no attempt to hide anything I've done from a single person and all can be found online somewhere. Now some of these aren't what can be called normal, from a worldly aspect and even for most Christians, they'll seem to be pushing the limits of what they believe to be Christian means. Now I did just say "what they believe," because if you've not noticed I think a bit different then most. I praise the LORD for this and am glad to count myself as one of HIS peculiar people. One of my favorite Christian bands is dcTalk and I love their song "JESUS Freak" and would account myself as one. For I will go to the limits of laying my life down to serve the LORD and have had it threatened because of this stand. I will not renounce CHRIST, even if it means my life!!!
This is one thing that seems to have people wary about the ministry. For I'm seeking people that are also willing to go this far. Just as the first century church members were willing to stand before the ruling counsels of the Hebrews, facing imprisonment or even death. Those that are willing to forsake everything in the world, and their very lives, to follow and live a life that is sold out to JESUS. Working together with people that all they want to do is bring glory to the most precious name in all existence. Striving to place HIS name upon the lips of every living being upon this planet that they can come into contact with. Serving JESUS like none have in quite some time. Are you willing to give your all to serve HIM? Even if it means giving the ultimate sacrifice? For truly this is what it means to wholeheartedly give your life to CHRIST. No less then HE did for you. For HE gave HIS all, right down to the very last breaths from HIS lungs and beats of HIS heart. Should we not be willing to do the very same for another, that they too may know the truth about that which JESUS did for them? I ask you now. Are you truly willing to follow JESUS?

3.12.10_Col. 3:23_Do all things...
Praise the LORD!!!
Today has been a busy day for me. I've been busy starting the first official advertising campaign for the ministry, both online and in the community. This is where this verse came to heart, for through it you will see how I live and do all that I do.
Col. 3:23
23 "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,"
No matter what it is that we're doing, right down to the very basics of life, we need to focus our attention in doing it as if we were presenting unto the LORD. It doesn't matter what it is either. It could be of the greatest importance or the least, we should still be doing it as if JESUS HIMSELF were to be the recipient of it.
This morning I've been working on getting the first official advertising campaign for the ministry going. I know that I've been networking the site at numerous social sites and the like, but this is different. Today, I began to reach out into the community and the surrounding ares, broadcasting the ministry and our intents and purposes. One of these was to the Kingsville Chamber of Commerce, to get their attention drawn to that which the ministry is here in town for. This was only the first step in this relationship, so it was only an introduction to the ministry's website. In doing this they can begin to see that which we've plans for the area.
Next were several online advertising groups, free ones due to lack of funding, but ones of a high caliber. I found these by doing some online reference searches and zeroing in on only several of the many out there. With these the ministry will begin having its information and intents know throughout the surrounding area and actually the world. For they advertise for business' around the globe. Though free and a little on the small side, everything I've heard of them was to the positive. They all have the options of upgrading my coverage through their programs, but this will have to wait until funds are available.
Now I'm sure you all know the name of Goggle. I've place the ministry in their business listing and search servers for better recognition online. This will enable the ministry to begin getting the attention needed to increase traffic to our site and word of mouth though others in the business world. These steps may seem minor, but the LORD has impressed it upon me that it is where HE wants this to start. I've worked the MLM business' before and this was the same manor in which it was recommended to start. Though I lost all my old records and files, I'm sure that all that is needed shall come my way. I totally trust the LORD along these lines.
Now you may be wondering what all this has to do with today's verse. It simple, the LORD led me and I did all as if I was only doing it to please HIM. I'm sure there will be those out there that will say this has been a waste of time and that I could of put it to use in better ways. You may of done things another way, but when the LORD leads me in anything, it gets done just as I'm led!!! I've learned the hard way, that going against the LORD's leading, is a major mistake.
Whenever I do something, no matter how small and insignificant, I put my best into it. Because in the jest of it, I'm doing it for JESUS and no one else. I've had very good turn around by doing everything this way and shall continue the practice. Even when I was welding train cars, though I could of cut corners like others, I didn't. The results were a very good inspection percentage, one above 97%, which few others maintained. Everyone in the plant knew me as Rev. Catfish, because of my foo Manchu and they all knew that I was a devote Christian, seeking to serve the LORD with my total being. Thus it was not myself that was receiving the glory, but the LORD! May I ask you a few questions? In your life, who receives the honor from the works of your hands? In all that you do, who are you doing it for? When someone wants to praise you for the works that you've done, who do you witness to? With these questions in mind, think about everything you've done today and this week. To whom, will you be able to say that all that you did was to the glory of? Self? Or the LORD?
As with other times that I left you with questions, there will be no verses to reference today. These kind of devotionals are meant to work your mind as to your walk with the LORD. I'm sure that if I was led to, I could put some here, but I'm not, so I will not. Take some time and think deeply about that which I asked, for it could change the results of what you do in the future!!!

3.09.10_Acts 14:22_Hardships
Praise the LORD!!!
Thanks for stopping in and I pray GOD is richly blessing you this day!!! This is something that a large number of Christians have been led to believe, that it doesn't exist for us. This has come about from false teachings within the churches today. Let's take a look at it.
Acts 14:22
“We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,”
Here the author is leading us to see that we as Christians, will face hardships within our walks with the LORD! It couldn't of been stated any clearer either. "We must," is very clear in it's intents to convey the fact that as Christians we will face times of troubles within our live.
To many have grown up believing that as Christians their lives are going to trouble free. Walking with CHRIST on a straight and level path without any obstacles or hindrances in their way. Where this idea truly came from is a mystery, for I've found it no where within scripture, no where! What has been promised, is that in no matter what kind of troubles we find ourselves, the LORD will be there with us, to help shoulder our problems(Matt. 11:28-30). Not, that we're not going to have problems, but that HE will help us to face them and carry us through them in a way that HE deems fit. In my fifteen years of being a Christian I've faced, shall we say, a few problems, and never once have they just miraculously gone away. Even though my heart problems were healed, they didn't just disappear. Five major heart problems just don't vanish into thin air. Though I was miraculously healed, there were things that I did within my life that brought about the positioning for GOD to receive the glory and hence the miracle was brought into reality.
These things that I did, were truly just my listening to the LORD's leadership and guidance, nothing of my own powers, except that I spoke them. I was led to the verse that says GOD has given me a new heart(Ezekiel. 36:26) and stood strongly upon this as a fact. In other words I claimed it as fact and not just something written in the Bible. I then was led to proclaim this to all that told me other wise, doctors, inmates(this was when I was in prison), and even staff members. No matter what anyone said, no matter what proof they showed me, I continued to stand firmly grasping this as fact. This was in early 97 and I've yet even had one negative sign that GOD hasn't completely given me a new heart. Praise the LORD!!!
Many of us are going through some very rough times right now, due to the conditions of the world's economies. Many are facing lose of house and homes, great financial burdens of other sorts, health problems which run the gambit from minor to major. I'm telling you that somewhere within the pages of scripture, there are verses that will cover your burden. You must seek them out, study them, cross reference them( doing so prayerfully, thus allowing the LORD to guide you) and then lay a hold of them with all your might. As usual, there will be those that say this is a false teaching. Well let me tell you something, if you had personally had a miracle take place through a practice such as this, would not you believe with all your heart that it is the truth? One of these days when I have the money, I'm going to get all the documentation from the BOP(Bureau of Prisons) and will be able to have physical proof of what happened. For there are records of over a half million dollars worth of test and procedures that were done and all that the doctors had written, all held in the BOP records of my incarceration. Then no one will be able to refute the facts!!! Sorry I got a little side track here and I hope you can see why!
We are told in scripture, that we face nothing that is uncommon to man(1 Cor. 10:13) within our lives. We're also told that nothing that we face daily, hasn't been faced by CHRIST HIMSELF. You may say that HE didn't have many of today's luxuries to worry about losing. Which is true, but HE did have the basics for all of them within HIS life. For we humans have only so many needs to survive, though many may disagree because they cover themselves in things not needed, and JESUS witnessed to all of these in HIS life. Lack of food, clothing, shelter, loneliness, depression, yes JESUS, suffered all of these. You may be wondering, when did JESUS suffer depression. What do you think HE was feeling when HE stated this, “Eloi, Eloi,a lama sabachthani?”—which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”b(Matt. 27:46)NIV)? JESUS was here feeling the likeness of depression, HE felt alone and without any means of rescue from HIS distress, thus depression. So those that are feeling depressed, there is a means of receiving a cure through the Bible, and you need to seek it.
I only write these devotionals, because I'm led by the LORD to do so. I receive nothing from them except the time to reflect upon that which HE has led me to write. These are as much a personal learning tool as they are something for others to learn from. Because I'm far from any "super saint." My walk is far from perfect. But it is, that I'm doing that which the LORD has led me too and that alone brings joy into my life. I'm suffering day to day like most people. I'm having financial problems like most, along with health problems as well. One thing is certain though, I know that the LORD didn't promise me a "rose garden" here on earth, that I'll be facing trials and tribulations daily, but only until that day that I join HIM in the sky. This is a day that I truly look forward to and I do my best to listen to HIS leading and lay aside all that is of this world, to continue daily to seek HIM and serve HIM to the best of my ability. I pray that all that are reading these post, will one day also be able to make this same claim!!!
Other verses to reference: Heb. 2:18; 2 Cor. 1:3-6; Phil.3:10; 1 Peter 4:12-19, 5:7-11, 3:13-17; Gal. 3:4,5; 1 John 5:1-5
Use these verses, but don't stop with them, cross reference and seek out GOD from within HIS WORD!!!
